As a Delivery Driver, you'll drive an Amazon-branded vehicle, delivering packages per day. You will be a delivery hero in the neighborhoods you serve - delivering hundreds of smiles to customers every day in the form of critical supplies, household goods, toys and so much more. You can expect to work 4-5 days per week and up to 10 hours per day.

Requirements of Delivery Driver:

  • Must be at least 21 years old.
  • Must have a valid driver's license within the state of employment.
  • Must be able to move boxes up to 50 lbs., with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Must be able to move boxes up to 70 lbs. using material handling equipment (MHE) or up to 300 pounds as part of a delivery team (driver + helper).
  • Commercial, DOT, CDL (or work-related) driving experience is a plus, but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

- Safely and efficiently drive delivery vehicles to transport packages to customers' locations.

- Load and unload packages, ensuring proper handling and secure transportation.

- Follow delivery schedules and routes to ensure timely deliveries.

- Provide excellent customer service by interacting with customers in a professional and friendly manner.

- Utilize communication skills to coordinate with dispatch and customers regarding delivery updates.

- Perform heavy lifting as needed to move packages and goods.

- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while operating delivery vehicles.

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of delivery vehicles.

- Utilize navigation tools to plan and optimize delivery routes.

- Demonstrate attention to detail when verifying package contents and delivery addresses.
