Position: Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct and document comprehensive resident assessments; prioritize and report findings to physicians as needed
  • Obtain and record residents' vital signs, weight, and other key health information
  • Administer prescribed medications and perform treatments as ordered by physicians or nurse practitioners
  • Accurately document care provided and resident assessments in electronic medical records (MAR)
  • Observe residents for changes in condition or adverse reactions to medications/treatments and promptly report findings to the Wellness Director and Executive Director
  • Respond to resident needs, concerns, and inquiries with professionalism, empathy, and compassion
  • Maintain confidentiality and communicate effectively with staff across all shifts to ensure continuity of care
Qualifications:
  • Current California LVN license in good standing with the Board of Vocational Nursing
  • Certified to administer medications
  • Current BLS Certification required
  • Leadership and administrative experience a plus
  • Previous experience as an LVN in an assisted living or long-term care setting preferred
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills
