Overview

We are seeking a dedicated line cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for the culinary arts. As a Fine Dining Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in creating memorable dining experiences for our members, ensuring that every detail is attended to with precision and care.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare a la carte menu items, plated banquets, buffets, hors d' Oeuvre, high end brunch and business lunches Tuesday -Saturday
  • Fill in on evening banquets when applicable
  • Be prepared to absorb extensive knowledge of world cuisine, including ingredients, preparation methods, and wine pairings.
  • Assist with menu planning and special dietary requests, accommodating guests' needs with professionalism.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and banquet areas, adhering to food safety standards.
  • Collaborate with service and banquet staff to ensure timely meal preparation and presentation.
  • Handle food safely and responsibly, following all health regulations and guidelines.

Experience

  • Previous experience in fine dining or upscale restaurant settings is preferred but not required. Anyone can become a great cook. Not everyone is a great worker.
  • Strong culinary skills including food preparation, cooking techniques, and knife skills are essential.
  • Familiarity with catering services and event planning is a plus.
