Project Engineer
for our Reading, PA client to lead the design and development of industrial control and low-voltage power distribution panels. This is a full-time, direct hire opportunity that combines 3D modeling, technical problem-solving, and engineering support throughout the product lifecycle. $70,000–$90,000/year

Hours:
1st Shift

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop electrical panel prototypes and models using 3D CAD software
  • Review and create electrical schematics in compliance with UL 508A standards
  • Select components and conductors for control panels based on specifications and regulations
  • Support new product introduction (NPI), testing, and inspection of panels
  • Manage multiple projects and deadlines while providing technical expertise to internal teams and customers
  • Assist with RFQs, BOMs, and technical documentation for production and client use

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering (or equivalent)
  • Proficient with AutoCAD, Creo, SOLIDWORKS, and Microsoft Office; experience with ERP systems like SyteLine
  • Strong knowledge of UL 508A, IPC-A-620, and NFPA 70 standards
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and customer-facing skills
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Prior manufacturing or semiconductor industry experience a plus
