We are seeking a skilled and passionate Pizza Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and cooking, with an emphasis on pizza making. This role requires creativity, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality dishes in a fast-paced environment. Duties

  • Prepare and cook a variety of pizzas according to established recipes and customer preferences.
  • Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety standards and regulations.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper food storage practices.
  • Assist with menu planning and development, contributing innovative ideas for new pizza offerings.
  • Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
  • Handle food ingredients with care, utilizing proper knife skills and cooking techniques.
  • Participate in catering events as needed, providing exceptional service and quality food.
  • Support the dietary department by adhering to specific dietary needs when preparing meals.

Skills

  • Proven experience in a culinary role, particularly within the pizza or restaurant industry.
  • Strong knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations.
  • Experience in menu planning and meal preparation for various dietary needs.
  • Excellent knife skills and proficiency in cooking techniques.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining individual accountability.
  • Previous experience in fine dining or catering is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills to interact with team members and customers effectively.
  • A passion for creating delicious meals that exceed customer expectations.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $ $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
