Business system Analyst

Job Description


• 8-10 years of experience in product planning discussions, including defining MVPs, release strategies, and deployment/migration approaches


• Engage with stakeholders across business and technology to gather, clarify, and document requirements


• Translate business needs into clear, actionable user stories and system features for development teams


• Collaborate with Technology, Enterprise Architecture, and Business teams to resolve dependencies and define business rules


• Facilitate workshops, working sessions, and walkthroughs to ensure shared understanding and alignment


• Support backlog grooming, prioritization, and initiative sequencing based on business value


• Provide input during testing and validation phases to ensure business outcomes are met


• Track and report progress against business expectations and success criteria

Required Skills & Experience


• Proven experience leading product planning and business analysis efforts


• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills


• Expertise in writing user stories, use cases, and functional specifications


• Ability to work across technical and non-technical teams to resolve issues and align goals


• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking abilities


• Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, or hybrid delivery models

Bonus Qualifications


• Prior experience in collateral management (Titles), Payment, Compliance or related financial services domains


• Relevant certifications (e.g., CBAP, PMI-PBA, Agile BA, Scrum Product Owner)


• Experience with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Visio, or similar platforms
