Position Summary

The Capper plays a key role in the final stage of our manufacturing process by ensuring finished cannabis products are capped accurately, efficiently, and in accordance with company and regulatory standards. This position ensures that all products leaving the facility reflect ThirtyOne Labs' high standards for quality, presentation, and safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate manual or automated capping equipment to securely apply caps or lids to finished units.
• Inspect containers, caps, and finished products for quality, consistency, and compliance with specifications.
• Maintain steady workflow and pace to meet daily production goals.
• Ensure proper torque, seal integrity, and label accuracy for all capped units.
• Keep workstations organized, clean, and compliant with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and safety standards.
• Communicate any product, equipment, or process issues to the Production Lead or Supervisor.
• Assist with setup, cleaning, and changeovers of capping equipment as needed.
• Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), safety policies, and state cannabis regulations.
• Support other production tasks such as filling, labeling, packaging, and quality control when required.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in manufacturing, packaging, or assembly preferred.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks with precision and consistency.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining quality.
• Able to work in a fast-paced production environment and meet daily targets.
• Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Must be 21 years or older and able to pass all required background checks under California cannabis regulations.
