Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to safety, reliability, and efficiency in transporting goods. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for delivering products to various locations while ensuring compliance with all transportation regulations. This role requires proficiency in operating different types of trucks and trailers, including manual transmission and refrigerated trailers.

Responsibilities

  • Operate various types of trucks including tractor-trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and dump trucks.
  • Execute route driving to deliver freight in a timely manner while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
  • Load and unload cargo safely using forklifts or other equipment as necessary.
  • Maintain accurate logs of driving hours and vehicle inspections.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections on vehicles to ensure they are in safe operating condition.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered on the road.
  • Ensure proper handling of freight to prevent damage during transport.

Skills

  • Experience with refrigerated trailers trucks is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of tanker operations is a plus.
  • Strong background in commercial driving with a valid CDL (Commercial Driver's License).
  • Familiarity with delivery driver experience and route planning.
  • Experience with roll-off trucks is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
