Key Activities/Responsibilities

  •  Select appropriate head fixture based on gauge of material, enter nest information, adjust speed/feed components and run programs. 
  • Responsible for loading parts, setting offsets, simple edits, deburring and inspection of quality parts for conformance to requirements. 
  • Organize workload to maximize material flow process. 
  • Communicate with managers, engineers, production control, quality and other shop personnel for assignments and to resolve quality issues. 
  • Perform inspection, preventative maintenance and ensure machines are operating optimally. 
  • Detect equipment malfunctions or out of tolerance machining and adjusts machine, within capabilities, controls or control media as required to insure quality of production. 
  • Act as subject matter expert and train co-workers as needed 
  • Maintain a neat and orderly work area complying with all 5S initiatives. 
  • Perform other related duties as assigned. 
  • Follow and comply with all safety and personal protective equipment requirements. 
  • Must be willing and able to work 2nd shift, Monday - Thursday 3:30pm - 2:00am

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent, required. 
  • Minimum 1 year related work experience, required 
  • Formal CNC Machining education or equivalent experience, preferred. 
  • Be able to lift a maximum of 50 lbs.   
  • Ability to use overhead crane.
