Lead Bartender

Looking for experienced Bartenders with Mixology experience to join our team Must have morning and evening availability to be considered. Must be flexible to work out of multiple locations.

Duties and responsibilities:

Lead Bartender -

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Bartender to oversee bar operations and ensure exceptional service standards. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership abilities, extensive knowledge of beverage service, and a commitment to delivering an outstanding guest experience.

• Manage, train, and support bar staff to ensure smooth and efficient service
• Oversee daily bar operations, maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming environment
• Deliver outstanding customer service and uphold high service standards
• Manage inventory and supplies, including ordering and stock control
• Create and update cocktail recipes, seasonal menus, and drink specials
• Handle administrative tasks such as cash management, and POS oversight.
• Inform our guests of daily specials
• Prepare alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages
• Check customer's identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age
• Roll silverware, set up food stations or set up dining areas to prepare for the next shift or for large parties (sidework)

Mixologist -Advanced and specialized responsibilities

As a mixologist you will be expected to combine fresh ideas with conventional expertise, mixologists develop new drink formulas.

• Mixology and creativity: Design and craft unique cocktails, stay updated on industry trends, and experiment with new flavor combinations and recipes.
• Regulatory compliance: Uphold all health, safety, and alcohol service regulations, which includes checking customer identification to verify age.
• Beverage service: Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks for customers and staff.
• Menu development: Contribute to the development and creation of drink menus and specials.

Qualifications

· Minimum of 2-year experience

· Relevant training certificate

· Customer service focused and solution oriented

· Must enjoy and be able to succeed in a fast-paced work environment

· Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with customers and coworkers

· Basic math and written communication skills

· Ability to work a flexible schedule based on department and restaurant needs

· Food handler's card & Class 12 Alcohol/Mixologist Permit are required according to our local and or state regulations

· Ability to attend work as scheduled, working various schedules and shifts throughout normal business hours (some holidays and most weekends are required)

Working conditions

Bartenders are on their feet most of the time and often carry heavy trays of food, dishes, and drinks. The work can be hectic and fast paced. During busy dining periods, they are under pressure to serve customers quickly and efficiently. They must be able to work well as a team with kitchen staff to ensure that customers receive prompt service

Physical requirements

· Ability to stand and walk continually throughout an eight-hour shift

· Ability to lift, carry, deliver and serve from trays weighing up to 40 pounds throughout an eight-hour shift. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
