Comcast NBCUniversal has announced its intent to create a new publicly traded company ('Versant') comprised of most of NBCUniversal's cable television networks, including USA Network, CNBC, MSNBC, Oxygen, E, SYFY and Golf Channel along with complementary digital assets Fandango, Rotten Tomatoes, GolfNow, GolfPass, and SportsEngine. The well-capitalized company will have significant scale as a pure-play set of assets anchored by leading news, sports and entertainment content. The spin-off is expected to be completed during 2025.

Job Description

The production coordinator role is a dynamic, communicative, and highly organized individual. A successful candidate will be responsible for providing support to our production group at large; and act as a central point of contact to help direct the flow of communication and information. This candidate should have excellent time management skills, organizational skills, be able to manage schedules, communicate effectively and create solutions to help streamline workflows and prioritize production efficiency. They should be able to work individually while also working well within the full team.

This position requires the ability to learn and understand technical attributes around Airtable scheduling, as well as a demonstrated knowledge of production gear and SOP's. This role will report to the Post Supervisor/Lead Editor with a dotted line into the production operations team. The production coordinator will have the opportunity to work across the org with many touch points directly to our production, operations and management staff. Responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

Production Responsibilities

  • Input, manage and maintain group assignment schedule
  • Send daily assignments out to staff
  • Production support in-office and on location
  • Production gear and production spaces support
  • Assistant Editor for LXTV productions, specials, sales, social, digital

Ops Responsibilities

  • Intern hiring and management
  • YOH onboarding
  • Manage cue sheets
  • P-card ops approver
  • Approve YOH timecards

Qualifications
  • 2+ years' experience working on production centric projects
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies, and an ability to use the right method for the task and situation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications, ability to tailor to all levels of an organization
  • Strong problem-solving skills in order to build solutions and drive results
  • Airtable knowledge is recommended not required

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States. 
  • Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, which currently requires contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week. Beginning January 5, 2026, hybrid employees will be required to work from the office a minimum of four days per week. The Company reserves the right to change in-office requirements at any time.
