The opportunity

Join a team that's powering a sustainable future Hitachi Energy is looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Specialist to support our Crystal Springs location. In this role, you'll be at the heart of our commitment to excellence, helping ensure our products meet the highest standards of quality and safety. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams, contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, and play a key role in delivering reliable energy solutions to communities around the world. How you'll make an impact

  • Develop and maintain inspection plans for raw materials and final products
  • Conduct inspections to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards
  • Create and update company inspection reports
  • Calibrate and verify testing equipment functionality
  • Identify and report quality anomalies to the Quality Engineer
  • Support production teams by ensuring adherence to operating procedures
  • Analyze technical drawings and interpret specifications
  • Draft reports and compile data to support quality initiatives
  • Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines

Your background

  • Associate degree or diploma in electrical/electronic technology or industrial electrical testing
  • Authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
  • Experience in a production environment as a Quality Technician or Inspector
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001 and modern quality control practices
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP ERP (or equivalent)
  • Strong communication skills and ability to interpret technical documentation
