Position Function
:
The Training Supervisor is responsible for leading the delivery of training programs at ACH. This role is critical in ensuring that employees are equipped with the knowledge, skills, and competencies necessary to provide high-quality, trauma-informed, and culturally responsive services to children, youth, and families.

Education*
: Bachelor's degree in social services, education, or organizational leadership/management preferred. Related experience may be substituted for education.
Experience
: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in providing in-person training. Adequate knowledge of learning management software is required. One year in a supervisory role preferred.
Functional
: Knowledge of adult learning theory, familiarity with traditional and modern training methods, tools, and techniques, and the ability to present complex information to a variety of audiences. Ability to identify sources for training content, sequence training methods, create training plans and schedule trainings. Ability to create skill practice exercises, pace training methods, select appropriate training methods and create broad content outlines.
*Working Conditions

Heavy computer usage, administrative and clerical functions in a "team" office environment, attendance at public functions, and some evening and weekend work required.

Maintain confidentiality and follow policies related to volunteer, personnel, and client records.
*Key Expectations/Responsibilities
:*
- Keep up to date with all minimum standards, COA and other licensing requirements and update trainings as needed.
- Deliver training content using a variety of instructional methods.
- Select, schedule, and coordinate training facilities and logistics with Training Coordinator.
- Oversee and assist in facilitating onboarding and annual training for all employees.
- Serve as subject matter expert in child welfare, trauma-informed care, and other assigned topics.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training course delivery and make recommendations for improvements.
- Monitor training effectiveness through feedback, assessments, and performance metrics; adjust programs as needed.
- Provide supervision, coaching, and mentoring to Trainers and Training Coordinator.
- Keep abreast of industry trends, contracts, state, federal and local rules, and beset practices in training and development.
- Work with Training Manager and support staff to oversee online training development and design.
- Lead and participate in department meetings.
- Assist in COA and other project-based activities.
- Work with supervisors and other program leaders to adjust trainings and needs as requested or required.
- Other duties as assigned.
