R&D Tech's you will support bench and line testing of existing products as well as development of new products from bench top through manufacturing scale up.  Also responsible for maintaining Innovation Lab hygiene, Line derived Lab ingredients and Lab administration. Primary Responsibilities include but not limited to: 

1. Assists formulation preparation and product testing for bench-top and production. 
2. Measures and collects data and information during testing and on test products. 
3. Performs product analysis and testing as directed 
4. Maintains customer specific information and supporting documentation by project 
5. Properly documents activities, conclusions and recommendations in lab notebook 
6. Prepares reports on completed tests 
7. Maintains and organize own area in lab and shared areas 
8. Manages lab ingredient inventory and equipment 
9. Orders lab supplies and ingredients 
10. Updates ingredient documentation database as needed 
11. Prepare, ship, and track outgoing packages 
12. Set up for customer presentations as well as clean up 
13. Support Quality and Manufacturing as needed 
14. Other duties as necessary 

  Required Education and Experience 

1. High School Diploma or GED equivalent  
2. Associate Degree in related field preferred  
3. Proficient in Microsoft Office - required 
4. Minimum of one year of previous quality, R&D or culinary work experience 

 Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities   

1. Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and to redirect efforts based on demands 
2. Well-organized, exercise sound judgment and to be resourceful 
3. Demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness; Monitor own work to ensure quality. 
4. Ability to work successfully with coworkers and independently. 

 Work Environment 

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work 

This is a full-time position, with the typical hours of work being 40 hours per week, from 08.30AM – 4.30PM. Occasional overtime (evening/nights) and weekend work may be required as job duties demand, to support line trials, product launches etc…
