Job Description:

Work with TD, CAD, and layout team for PDK development and support. Maintain and support front and backend tools utilized by design and layout engineer.

Reporting to: CAD Manager

Essential Functions:

  • Design and support user-friendly layout cells.
  • Develop and support PCells.
  • Support layout team.
  • Build CAD environment and settings for ADC project.
  • Troubleshoot problems related to Linux environment, network, and CAD tools.
  • Document settings and issues.
  • Support layout tools: Cadence Virtuoso and ICEditor
  • Support verification tool: Cadence Diva and Cadence Dracula
  • Maintain Unix environment.
  • Maintain ease of use for all applications.

Qualifications:

  • BS in Electrical Engineering or BS Computer Engineering
  • 1-3 years of layout experience.
  • Experience of PCell development.
  • PDK knowledge.
  • Experience with scripting language such as Perl and/or programming language such Java or C/C++

Pay is based on market location and may vary based on factors including experience, skills, education and other job-related reasons. The base salary range for this position in California is $90,000 - $100,000.
