Pay is per hour, plus 2-4 dollars an hour in tips on checks We are looking to add a FULL TIME person to our line 5 days a week, 34-40 hours per week.

We are looking for a professional line cook to add to our family owned restaurant team The right candidate is respectful, positive, and is an asset to the team in both cooking skills and attitude.

Please note this is a very fast paced environment - line cooks with single station abilities are not a good fit for our small quick kitchen The whole team can run the whole line.

Shift availability requirements - weekends are required

Responsibilities

  • Set up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies
  • Prepare food for service (e.g. chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces)
  • Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
  • Clean up station and take care of leftover food
  • Stock inventory appropriately
  • Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion
  • Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
  • Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers

Skills

  • Proven cooking experience, including experience as a line cook or prep cook
  • Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures
  • Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks
  • Familiar with industry's best practices
