Company Description
It all started in sunny San Diego, California in 2004 when a visionary engineer, Fred Luddy, saw the potential to transform how we work. Fast forward to today — ServiceNow stands as a global market leader, bringing innovative AI-enhanced technology to over 8,100 customers, including 85% of the Fortune 500. Our intelligent cloud-based platform seamlessly connects people, systems, and processes to empower organizations to find smarter, faster, and better ways to work. But this is just the beginning of our journey. Join us as we pursue our purpose to make the world work better for everyone.
Job Description
About the role:
This is a remarkable opportunity to help lead ServiceNow's aggressive transformation into an AI-native company. We're looking for a Senior Product Manager who thrives in the trenches with engineers and customers—someone who wants to build, test, and learn hands-on.
In this role, you'll be embedded alongside our Forward Deployed Engineers (FDEs), working directly with customers to experiment with real enterprise use cases. You'll take what you learn from these deep engagements and abstract them into scalable product patterns that shape the next generation of ServiceNow's AI-native data, workflows, analytics, and agentic processes. This is a role for a true builder who is equally comfortable in customer workshops, whiteboarding with engineers, and iterating rapidly in the platform.
About the opportunity:
- Embed with Forward Deployed Engineers
- Partner daily with FDEs in customer environments to co-design, prototype, and validate new AI-native solutions. Learn by building directly in the platform.
- Abstract Real-World Solutions into Product Patterns
- Distill field-built prototypes into generalized, reusable capabilities that can scale across industries and customers.
- Be Hands-On with the Platform
- Roll up your sleeves to experiment with workflows, data models, and AI-driven automation—ensuring every insight makes its way into the product roadmap.
- Bridge Customer Discovery and Product Delivery
- Translate messy, real-world customer problems into structured product requirements and crisp use cases that guide engineering investments.
- Ship Fast, Iterate Constantly
- Drive lightweight experiments with FDEs, define MVPs, measure adoption, and refine based on live feedback from the field.
- Champion the Customer Voice
- Ensure that what we learn from embedded work directly informs how ServiceNow builds durable, differentiated AI-native capabilities.
Why join us?
- Work hand in hand with world-class engineers and visionary customers to shape the AI-native future of enterprise software—Putting AI to work for people
- Turn one-off customer solutions into scalable product capabilities trusted by thousands of enterprises.
- Help define the reusable building blocks of the 21st-century enterprise.
Qualifications
- Experience: 15+ years of product management in enterprise SaaS, AI/ML, or data platforms, with a proven track record of shipping products shaped by customer engagement.
- Hands-On Builder: You love working side-by-side with engineers in the product, testing workflows, and iterating fast.
- Technical Curiosity: Comfort with APIs, data models, AI/ML concepts, or workflow systems. Enough technical depth to partner seamlessly with FDEs.
- Customer Obsessed: Skilled at uncovering root problems in live customer settings and translating them into scalable product solutions.
- Pattern Thinker: Ability to abstract from one-off use cases to repeatable product capabilities.
- Collaborator: Energized by working cross-functionally in fast-moving, ambiguous environments.
For positions in this location, we offer a base pay of $195,700 - $342,500, plus equity (when applicable), variable/incentive compensation and benefits. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure. Please note that the base pay shown is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies, and work location. We also offer health plans, including flexible spending accounts, a 401(k) Plan with company match, ESPP, matching donations, a flexible time away plan and family leave programs. Compensation is based on the geographic location in which the role is located and is subject to change based on work location.
