Overview

We are seeking a Project Superintendent to oversee and manage smaller construction projects from inception to completion. You will have a strong background in construction management, with experience in managing a small crew, work mostly around Central Florida and mostly within a 3 hours drive. This role requires effective leadership and supervisory skills to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality. We are a traditional "mom and pop" company and look to hire to retire.

Duties

  • Supervise daily operations on construction sites, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
  • Fill out a single page paper daily log and upload it on your phone.
  • Communicate with the Owner of the project work schedule, obstacles found in the field, and general overall management of the site.
  • Collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and clients to coordinate project activities and resolve any issues that arise.
  • Review and interpret contract documents, schematics, and contracts to ensure accurate execution of project plans.
  • Implement quality control measures to maintain high standards throughout the construction process.
  • Be willing to get OSHA 10 and OSHA 30 training, and other training as it becomes available. IE, heavy equipment, crane and rigging, confine space, etc..

Qualifications

  • Be willing to work 45hrs per week or more depending on job demands.
  • Be willing to try new things you have not done before.
  • Be willing to work 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM and set an example for the new / younger generation.
  • Be willing to grow with the company as we build larger jobs.
  • Legally allowed to work in US; Must posses a driver license.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Strong leadership qualities with excellent communication skills for team collaboration.
