Job Summary: Tower Hill, RS supervisor Lawrence, 3 om-11 pm, Tues-Sat.
The Recovery Specialist Supervisor manages the day-to-day operation of the program during hours that traditionally have high activity but lower staff coverage. The Recovery Specialist Supervisor assists the Program Director in conducting staff supervision and development.
Job Responsibilities:
· Supervises staff to ensure a high level of quality care; participates in regular supervision, documents employee performance evaluations and progressive disciplinary processes as directed by the Program Director.
· Assist in the oversight of House Coordinator duties as directed by the PD.
· Assist in the oversight of appropriate budgeting and spending
· Assist in the oversight of the Intake Coordinator as directed by the PD
· Assumes an active role monitoring daily problems and interventions; mediates issues with residents and attends meetings to report client activity and/or issues, to assist in decision making.
· Assist in preparation for licensing and site visits
· Knowledge of BSAS regulations and Riverbend standards for physical site
· Completes staff assignment sheets and daily logs/ rounds
· Oversight of medication, med errors, and medication needs in the absence of the nurse.
· Responsible for implementation and completion of the training checklist with new Recovery Specialist and Counselor positions for training universal duties.
· Responsible for inputting notes into the EHR if it is warranted
· Incident report writing as needed
· Participates in the admission, transfers, and discharge process
· Ensuring all shift documentation is completed by the end of shift.
· Responsible for finding shift coverage as directed by the PD
· Weekend and Evening courage required to offset hours of PD
· In times of need for program staff ratio, may be mandated by an on-call administrator to work beyond scheduled hours of shift.
Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
● High school diploma or GED minimum requirement.
● Must become CPI, CPR/First Aid
● Demonstrate the knowledge and ability to promote recovery.
● Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
● Must use company vehicles and potentially personal vehicles to transport clients.
● Strong verbal & written communication skills.
● This position requires the successful completion of a CORI
