For 50 years Parkhouse Tire has been a leader in the Southern California Commercial Tire Industry and is based in Bell Gardens. We have 11 locations and a work environment that includes growth opportunities.

General Description:

Looking for a motivated team member with tire experience to help customers at our service desk. Duties include assisting customers, writing estimates, recommending tires, answering phones, and supporting shop operations. Must have prior tire knowledge, good communication skills, and be dependable.

Position Type: Full Time

Schedule:

  • Monday – Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm

Hourly Compensation: $17 - $19 per hour based on experience

Qualifications:

  • High School or equivalent (Required)
  • CA Driver License (Required)
  • US Work authorization (Required)
  • English
  • Spanish (Preferred)
  • Experienced with computers, Microsoft Excel and general software programs
  • Previous experience (Preferred)
  • Must be self-starting and willing to take initiative
  • Must be willing and able to work successfully without direct supervision
  • Must have excellent communication skills and work well with others

Responsibilities will include but will not be limited to:

  • Greet customers and provide excellent customer service
  • Identify tire needs and recommend appropriate products
  • Create estimates, invoices, and work orders
  • Maintain product knowledge of tires, wheels, and related services
  • Answer phones, schedule appointments, and support service advisors
  • Assist with inventory, stock checks, and parts lookup
  • Ensure a clean and organized counter and customer area
