The Senior Financial Analyst at URUS plays a key role in Functional (IT, People, Global Supply Chain, Sustainability) financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and the strategic planning processes. Operating from URUS's Madison, WI headquarters, the Senior Financial Analyst collaborates closely with functional leaders to develop annual plans, forecasts, reporting and ad hoc business analysis that help drive insights and action in a multi-entity, global environment. This role is a critical contributor in ensuring that URUS Functions meet their financial performance targets.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial performance reports, including variance analysis and KPI tracking.
  • Provide strategic and financial support to business functions on operating expense budgets and forecasts, including budget versus actual variance analysis.
  • Streamline planning processes, reporting standards, and KPIs and identify opportunities for process improvement.
  • Create new, and enhance exiting reports to drive efficiency.
  • Conduct deep dives into expense or revenue lines in partnership with controllership team to understand drivers and potential levers to enhance financial performance.
  • Build and present ad hoc financial modeling and reporting, including business cases for investment opportunities.
  • Ability to work and communicate cross functionally with all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to work with senior leaders as a strategic finance advisor.
  • Drive continuous improvement in FP&A processes, tools and systems (e.g., HFM and Power BI).
  • Support Sustainability lead in tracking of Sustainability metrics.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field.
  • 3–5 years progressive experience in finance and/or financial planning.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, including complex formulas and building complete financial models.
  • Experience with ERP systems and reporting tools (e.g., HFM, Power BI etc.)
  • Exceptional attention to detail, analytical thinking, communication, and cross-team collaboration.
  • Experience in matrixed or multinational organizations preferred.
