Oxbo is seeking a Paint /Powder Coat Supervisor for our new state-of-the-art, 200,000 square foot facility in Bergen, currently under construction.

Responsibilities include:

  • Oversee the setup, operation, and maintenance of paint equipment, ensuring all machinery is functioning properly and safely.
  • Monitor production, solve manufacturing issues and keep workflow running smoothly.
  • Inspect products/equipment for defects/malfunctions
  • Determine paint flow, viscosity, and coating quality by performing visual inspections
  • Operate auxiliary machines or equipment used in coating or painting processes.
  • Record operational data
  • Maintaining paint/powder material and supply inventory.
  • Coordinate hazardous & nonhazardous waste from all areas of the facility, including oils, coolants, sealants, oily rags, scrap metals, contractor waste.
  • Lead, motivate and promote safety while ensuring a quality product.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years of experience in paint processes, with a minimum of 2 years in a supervisory or management role, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • Knowledge of Graco Plural equipment
  • Ability to pass a Respirator/Pulmonary Physical Exam. Must be clean shaven/have minimal facial hair to pass Respirator Fit test.
  • Understanding of hazardous waste record keeping and disposal requirements

· Must be a self-starter- lead by example /lead by doing. This position is hands-on.
