Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the maintenance operations within our manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial maintenance, including mechanical and electrical systems, and will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of equipment and facilities. This role requires exceptional leadership skills and the ability to manage a team effectively while maintaining high standards of safety and productivity.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and lead a team of maintenance technicians in daily operations.
  • Develop and implement maintenance management strategies to enhance equipment reliability and performance.
  • Oversee the operation and troubleshooting of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and other automated systems.
  • Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking work orders, inventory, and maintenance schedules.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices in all maintenance activities.
  • Conduct regular inspections of HVAC systems, electrical systems, and other facility infrastructure to identify potential issues.
  • Manage projects related to facility upgrades, repairs, and preventive maintenance initiatives.
  • Provide training and mentorship to maintenance staff on best practices in industrial maintenance.
  • Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals to facilitate repairs and installations.

Skills

  • Proven management skills with experience in supervising a team in an industrial setting.
  • Strong knowledge of industrial maintenance practices, including mechanical knowledge, electrical experience (both high voltage and low voltage), HVAC systems, and facilities management.
  • Familiarity with project management principles to effectively oversee maintenance projects from inception to completion.
  • Proficiency in using tools such as an ohmmeter for electrical testing and diagnostics.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
  • Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate a diverse team towards achieving operational goals.
  • Experience working within a manufacturing environment is highly desirable.
