Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced School Psychologist on a contractual basis to support administering psychological evaluations to English language learners. Ideally the assessment could be provided by the psychologist in Spanish, or utilize interpreters to collect data on individual students.

Duties

  • Conduct psychological assessments, including diagnostic evaluations and psychological testing, to identify students' needs and strengths.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and healthcare providers to develop IEPs (Individualized Education Programs) tailored to students with disabilities or developmental delays.

Requirements

  • Valid school psychology license or certification in accordance with state regulations.
  • Proven experience working with children in educational settings, especially those with disabilities or developmental challenges.
  • Most provide own testing materials or work with the school to purchase appropriate testing materials.
  • Strong skills in child & family counseling, crisis intervention, psychological testing, and diagnostic evaluation.
  • Experience working with students with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), developmental disabilities, or behavioral health needs.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $ $100.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 4 per week
