About the Role:

As the AGM, you'll partner closely with the General Manager to lead daily operations—with a strong focus on kitchen execution, food quality, and back-of-house leadership. You'll play a key role in supporting our teams, optimizing processes, and maintaining our high standards for local, scratch-made food.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support BOH operations to ensure food is fresh, consistent, and timely
  • Coach and develop kitchen staff to uphold Forage's culinary standards
  • Oversee food prep, inventory, and waste management systems
  • Support hiring, onboarding, and performance management for kitchen team members
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized kitchen that meets all health code requirements
  • Collaborate with FOH leadership to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction
  • Step into GM responsibilities as needed to ensure strong leadership presence

Qualifications

  • Inventory management experience
  • Proficiency in POS systems and cash register operation
  • Strong background in retail sales and team management
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to supervise and lead a team effectively
  • Negotiation and conflict management skills
  • Multilingual or bilingual proficiency is a plus
  • Knowledge of purchasing and inventory control processes
  • Experience in recruiting and employee orientation
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Must have or be able to attain a Serve Safe license within 30 days of employment
  • Ability to work nights and weekends.

Compensation & Benefits: $22 to $24 per hour including tips, Health, Dental, Vision, Upward Mobility, Shift Meals, 1 week PTO
