Network Doctor is an IT managed services firm where company culture and teamwork is a part of our DNA. Successful interns will develop a tremendous amount of real-life experience in network administration, technology solutions, client communications, and business automation.

Our firm provides IT support for businesses in the NY-metro area, working with hundreds of businesses across a diverse range of industries. Internships typically run +/-8 months. Employment opportunities may ensue depending on your success in the position and employment availability at the end of the internship period. The candidate should be a motivated individual looking to work in a fun, young and fast-paced atmosphere. Responsibilities will be diverse and require personal judgment. The team member would work from our Englewood Cliffs, NJ office daily from 9am-6pm (1 hr lunch) and when needed travel onsite to our clients.

Job Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide technical support to clients via phone, email, via remote assistance as well as onsite.
  • Assist with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware and software systems.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot client networks, servers, and infrastructure components.
  • Collaborate with senior engineers to implement IT solutions tailored to clients' needs.
  • Assist with documentation, including network diagrams, system configurations, and client communications.
  • Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and professional development activities.

  • Familiarity with operating systems such as Windows, macOS

  • Server and networking experience - i.e. Windows server, routers, switches, and WIFI devices
  • Technical certifications
  • Background in technology and a level of personal interest
  • Customer service experience
