Armed Security Officer

 Wage: $19.00/ hour 

Looking to become Armed? Securitas is offering an Armed Training Class at the end of October

  • Must be able to attend an unpaid 4-day training and be ready to work immediately upon completion.

  • Requirements:

    • Minimum 1 year of security, law enforcement, or military experience

    • Valid Driver's License

    • Ability to work 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts

    • Weekend availability required

  • Primary location: Portsmouth, VA

The Armed Security Officer position helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for a client site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area. Frequently our Armed Security Officers will provide customer service and information to a client's employees and customers and serve as a physical deterrent.
