Job Title: Dental Assistant – Pediatric Dentistry

Location: Seattle, WA 98125

Position Type: Part-Time

We're looking for a caring and enthusiastic Dental Assistant to join our team and help us to continue delivering exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and support patients and families, creating a positive experience from start to finish
  • Assist the dentist chairside during exams, cleanings, and procedures
  • Take digital x-rays
  • Document dental appointments accurately and efficiently in patient's electronic health record
  • Sterilize and organize instruments and treatment areas
  • Provide patient and parent education on oral hygiene, care instructions, and preventive habits
  • Support office flow with scheduling and other clinical or administrative tasks as needed

Qualifications:

  • Washington State Dental Assistant license preferred
  • Experience in pediatrics is a plus, but not required. We're happy to train the right candidate
  • Friendly, compassionate, and professional communication style
  • Reliable team player with a positive attitude and eager to learn
  • Self starter with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Compassionate and patient-focused attitude, especially when interacting with children and families.
  • Knowledge of dental terminology is preferred.

Part-time position: Mondays and Wednesdays from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
