Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing maintenance and repairs on various types of equipment and systems within our facility. This role requires a strong understanding of industrial mechanics, electrical systems, and troubleshooting techniques. The Maintenance Technician will ensure that all machinery operates efficiently and safely, contributing to the overall productivity of our operations.

Duties

  • Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
  • Utilize tools such as voltmeters and ohmmeters to diagnose issues.
  • Perform stick welding as needed for repairs or modifications.
  • Work with logic controllers to ensure proper operation of automated systems.
  • Analyze equipment performance and recommend improvements or replacements.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with other team members to support technical sales initiatives when necessary.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an Industrial Mechanic or in a similar maintenance role.
  • Proficiency in using diagnostic tools such as voltmeters and ohmmeters.
  • Knowledge of high voltage systems and safety practices related to electrical work.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess equipment performance and troubleshoot issues effectively.
  • Ability to communicate fluently in English, both verbally and in writing.
  • Experience with stick welding techniques is preferred but not required.
  • Familiarity with industrial maintenance best practices is essential.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to maintaining high safety standards.
