Medical Office Assistant

Overview
Primary care office in City of Industry seeking for a full time or part time medical assistant. We are looking for someone who speaks English and Mandarin (must speak Mandarin) that is able to multitask in a fast pace environment. The candidate should be skilled in working at both front and back office if the need arises. All front and back office training will be done in office.
Responsibilities
- Greet patients and manage front desk operations, including scheduling appointments and handling inquiries.
- Obtain vitals and administer immunizations to patients.
- Support clinical staff by preparing examination rooms, sterilizing instruments, and assisting during procedures as needed.
- Ensure the confidentiality of patient information in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
Skills
- Knowledge of care plans and health information management principles.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, capable of building rapport with patients and staff alike.
- Attention to detail to maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred but not required.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
