Davidson Ford Pro Elite Commercial Center isexpanding and we're looking for a driven Commercial Account Manager to lead business development and account growth This position is ideal for a motivated sales professional who thrives both in the dealership and in the field to build strong relationships, solve business transportation needs, and deliver complete Ford fleet solutions. This position will also be integral to educating our prospective and existing customers on their options for parts, service, telematics, upfitting, and anything else that can help make their business successful.

Hours: Monday - Saturday, with Sunday and an additional day during the week off.
Pay Range: $40,000 - $100,000+/yr
Responsibilities:
- Sales & Territory Development:
Prospect, acquire, and grow commercial accounts within an assigned territory, both remotely and through on-site visits.
Build strong relationships with business owners, procurement teams, and fleet managers in key industries such as construction, trades, landscaping, delivery, and municipal services.
Conduct needs assessments to match clients with the right Ford Super Duty trucks, Transit vans, and commercial vehicle solutions.
Develop strategic territory plans to drive new business and grow market share.
Bundle Service, Maintenance, Parts & Support Into Every Quote: Present ESC service plans, maintenance schedules, priority lane access, mobile service options, and fleet reporting as standard fleet support—not optional add-ons.
Engage with customers via phone or in person when sales staff are unavailable.
Integrate Ford Telematics & Fleet Management Tools: Demonstrate how connected vehicle data, fault alerts, maintenance tracking, and real-time fleet visibility reduce unplanned downtime and streamline lifecycle management.
Communicate with customers through various channels (calls, texts, emails).
- In-House & Remote Sales Execution:
Manage incoming commercial leads with priority and professionalism.
Conduct virtual and on-site product presentations, vehicle walk-arounds, and proposal reviews.
Prepare competitive quotes, negotiate pricing, and close sales for both single-unit and multi-vehicle opportunities.
Maintain an accurate CRM with up-to-date account notes, opportunities, and follow-up activity.
- Account Management & Customer Success:
Serve as the dedicated point of contact for assigned commercial accounts.
Provide consultative support regarding fleet lifecycle planning, financing options, maintenance strategies, and Ford Pro service solutions.
Build long-term customer loyalty through consistent follow-up and value-driven engagement.
- Marketing & Events:
Represent Davidson Ford at regional job fairs, vendor showcases, and business expos.
Attend commercial trade shows, industry events, and professional networking functions to generate new opportunities and increase brand visibility.
Build relationships with vendors, associations, chambers of commerce, and trade organizations.
Promote Ford commercial solutions, upfit capabilities, and the Davidson brand through professional presentations and product displays.
Support event setup, booth management, lead capture, and follow-up activities to ensure maximum ROI from each event.
- Upfit & Vehicle Integration Coordination:
Work closely with local upfitters (e.g., dump bodies, service bodies, plows, racks, specialty equipment) to design and complete customized vehicle builds.
Ensure accurate communication of build specs, timelines, and customer expectations.
Coordinate schedules, approvals, and delivery timelines between the dealership, upfit vendors, and customers.
Oversee the full lifecycle of the sale—from order to final delivery—ensuring quality and accuracy.

- Must be at least 18 years of age .
- A valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Preferred Skills:
- Prior sales experience.
- Prior technological experience.
- Prior customer service experience.
- Previous automotive experience.
- CDL

Physical Requirements:
- The ability to lift and carry up to 20 pounds.
- The ability to occasionally perform repetitive motion tasks such as pushing snow off of surfaces as high as 7 feet.
- The ability to drive 100 miles one way.
- The ability to work in outdoor weather conditions including temperatures above 80 and below 32 degrees Fahrenheit.
- The ability to stoop, kneel, or crouch.
- The ability to sit for an extended period of time.
