Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Packer/Tubing Anchor Field Technician to join our Artificial Lift team. This position supports our Gas Lift product line and plays a key role in installing, servicing, and troubleshooting downhole packers, tubing anchors, and related equipment. The right candidate will also have the opportunity to learn and develop technical expertise in Gas Lift systems as part of their training and field experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, retrieve, and service packers, tubing anchors, and associated downhole tools.
  • Assist in the installation and maintenance of Gas Lift valves and mandrels.
  • Perform field maintenance, pressure testing, and function checks prior to deployment.
  • Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with company and customer standards.
  • Communicate effectively with operations, customers, and supervisors regarding job status and field conditions.
  • Maintain and track field equipment, inventory, and tools.
  • Complete detailed job reports and documentation following each service.
  • Participate in safety meetings, job hazard analyses, and pre-job planning.

Qualifications:

  • 1–3 years of oilfield experience preferred (packer/tubing anchor experience strongly preferred).
  • Mechanical aptitude and ability to work with hand and power tools.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Interest in learning Gas Lift operations and equipment.
  • Ability to work in field environments
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Willingness to work extended hours, weekends, and on-call rotations
