Basic Job Functions:

Vulcraft Utah a Division of Nucor is seeing the position of Maintenance Machinist. The Machinist reports to the Maintenance Supervisor while carrying out the duties and responsibilities required of the position. Primary responsibilities include working within and across multiple groups to design and build part for equipment and improve plant operation and maintain compliance with all plant safety and environmental practices and procedures.

Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of designing and producing parts using CNC and manual machining equipment
  • Basic knowledge of calipers, coordinates systems and micrometer
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous Maintenance experience or Machinist experience in an industrial setting
  • Advanced welding and fabrication skills
