Quality Technician

San Jose, CA

Job Summary

Responsible for maintaining quality standards by conducting quality control plans, handling return material authorization (RMA) and troubleshooting with operation teams. Additional responsibilities as an engineering assistant are to maintain product safety (UL) and to assist with sample requests. Keen attention to details and excellent communication are a must in this role.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities including but not limited to


• Administer RMA requests and workflows


• Lead quality control planning and execution


• Collaborate with the PM team to maintain product safety and to conduct sample build-ups


• Collaborate with QA, MFG, PMC, CS teams to improve workflows

Qualifications


• Work Experience: 1 – 2 years of related or equivalent experience in an Engineering role, quality role, or project management role.


• Strong time-management and organization skills for coordinating multiple initiatives, priorities, and implementations of new technology and products into very complex projects.


• Language Skill: Bilingual in English/Mandarin is required, aligned with business needs.


• Flexibility to work some evening hours as needed.


• Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint, and/or other applications to streamline communication and complete tasks.

Travel Requirement

Seldom (1 – 3 times per year)
