Server/Cashier

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server/Cashier to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Server/Cashier, you will play a vital role in ensuring our guests have an enjoyable dining experience while efficiently managing transactions.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests with a friendly demeanor, ensuring they feel valued and appreciated.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently, utilizing upselling techniques to enhance the guest experience.
• Process payments and manage cash register operations, ensuring accuracy in transactions.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the dining area and kitchen, adhering to food safety regulations.
• Assist with food preparation as needed, supporting kitchen staff during peak hours.
• Provide timely service while managing multiple tables or customers simultaneously, demonstrating strong time management skills.
• Address customer inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally to ensure satisfaction.
• Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment and enhance overall service quality.

Experience

• Previous experience in a restaurant or café setting is preferred but not required.
• Strong basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing.
• Familiarity with food safety practices and sanitation standards is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills with an emphasis on sales techniques such as upselling.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while managing individual responsibilities.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and customer service excellence is essential.
