Paralegal Associate – Production Division

Full-Time | Greenville, SC | Onsite

The Southeast Affordable Housing Administration (SAHA) partners with developers, lenders, and nonprofits to execute affordable housing programs across the Southeast. Our Production Division manages the legal and operational execution behind those projects. SAHA's work is high-impact and fast-paced. We manage the legal backbone of deals that define affordable housing outcomes for thousands of residents.

Role Overview

We are seeking a Paralegal Associate to support legal production workflows, reporting to the Senior Director of Operations and working closely with the General Counsel.

This is not a traditional legal support role – it's a chance to operate at the intersection of law, real estate, compliance, and mission-driven execution. The ideal candidate thrives in high-volume environments where precision, organization, and accountability drive results.

Key Responsibilities

● Support end-to-end legal workflows, including entity formation, ownership structuring, and document execution.

● Draft and manage legal documents such as LLC agreements, closing checklists, tax filings, and compliance certifications.

● Maintain organized records, version control, and ensure accurate document filing.

● Coordinate signatures, notarizations, and submissions with legal counsel, jurisdictions, and partners.

● Collaborate across teams to track deliverables and ensure projects stay on schedule.

What We're Looking For

● 2-4 years of experience in real estate, corporate, or transactional law (law firm or in-house).

● Proven ability to manage large volumes of documents, deadlines, and stakeholders with precision and attention to detail.

● Strong organizational skills and a methodical approach to file management and workflow execution.

● Initiative-driven approach to tracking progress, coordinating signatures, and maintaining workflow momentum.

● Clear and effective written and verbal communication across teams and partners.

● Proficiency with Google Workspace, Docusign, and cloud-based file systems.

● Bachelor's degree or Paralegal Certification preferred.

Reporting & Growth

● Reports To: Senior Director of Operations

● Works with: General Counsel, Asset Management, and Partner Development

● Growth path toward Senior Paralegal or Production Specialist based on performance.
