ABOUT THE ROLE

The Granule Utility position is responsible for supplying raw materials for the production lines. Keeps track of inventory based on Production Schedule. The Granule Utility works in various areas of the manufacturing facility and performs a variety of tasks.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

  • Responsible for adherence to company policies, including safety and the use of personal protective equipment.
  • Maintain and repair plant machinery and equipment to ensure safe, efficient operation.
  • Respond promptly to mechanical breakdowns and perform necessary repairs.
  • Perform preventive and predictive maintenance tasks as scheduled.
  • Read and interpret mechanical drawings, schematics, and technical documents.
  • Rig, move, and install equipment safely and efficiently.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • A high school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience is required.
  • Reponsible for cleanliness of assigned areas.
  • Assist Bulk Unloader in the performance of their duties.
  • Perform general housekeeping within production facilities while maintaining a safe working environment.
  • Operate a lift truck, power tools and air tools to complete assigned projects.
  • Assist operators in supply of raw materials when necessary.Shuttle raw materials from different locations around the plant as necessary.
  • Regular and predictable attendance is required in this position.
  • Perform bulk counts and spot check counts when necessary.
  • Must have a valid driver's license.
