Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various carpentry techniques and be proficient in building and repairing structures. This role requires attention to detail, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work collaboratively with other tradespeople. The Carpenter will be responsible for executing projects from start to finish, ensuring high-quality workmanship. Employees are required to have a wide range of hand tools. There is a 30 day probationary period before being hired full time.

Duties

• Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures made from wood, plywood, and wallboard.
• Build roofs, frames, and other structural components according to specifications.
• Perform metal stud framing for interior walls and partitions.
• Lay tiles for flooring and walls as part of renovation or new construction projects.
• Fabricate custom elements as needed for specific projects, ensuring precision and quality.
• Execute construction painting tasks to enhance the aesthetic appeal of completed work.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols at all times.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Carpenter or similar role in the construction industry.
• Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues on-site.
• Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
