Womble Bond Dickinson (US) LLP is seeking a Software Engineer to join one of its US offices. This position is responsible for designing, developing, and supporting a range of applications and backend services using C#, .NET, Blazor, React, and TypeScript. This encapsulates both software development and operational support, including writing scripts to automate tasks and manage environments across dev/test/prod. This position also works within a hybrid environment that includes both custom code and low-code/no-code solutions using Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Dataverse. The engineer will collaborate closely with the data engineering team to support modern data architecture and ensure strong alignment between application logic, operational workflows, and enterprise data systems.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Design, develop, and maintain web applications, APIs, and backend services using C#, .NET, Blazor, React, and TypeScript.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, scalable solutions aligned with business objectives.
  • Write and maintain scripts to support operational tasks, automation, deployment, and environment management across dev/test/prod environments.
  • Build and extend solutions within the Microsoft Power Platform ecosystem, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Dataverse.
  • Participate in architectural discussions, code reviews, and system design planning.
  • Integrate applications with Azure services such as App Services, Key Vault, Service Bus, and Azure SQL.
  • Work closely with the data engineering team to ensure smooth interoperability with the firm's modern data architecture.
  • Use Git and Azure DevOps for version control, work tracking, and release pipelines.
  • Document technical solutions and support internal knowledge sharing across development and operations teams.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of experience in software development using C# and the .NET stack.
  • Hands-on experience with Blazor (Server or WASM), React, and TypeScript.
  • Solid understanding of Azure cloud services and application lifecycle management.
  • Experience writing scripts (e.g., PowerShell, CLI, or similar) for automation and operational support.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Power Platform tools, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Dataverse.
  • Experience working in structured development environments using Git and Azure DevOps.
  • Strong understanding of application and data layer integration within enterprise environments.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

COMPENSATION: The estimated national average salary range for this role is $105,000-$133,000. Starting salary will be determined based on qualifications and experience.
