Process Engineer

Position Summary:

• Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm
• 100% on-site

The Process Engineer is a position for individuals with engineering experience or equivalent education. This position is responsible for identifying, leading, and driving projects that improve manufacturing safety, efficiency, quality, and compliance.

The Role:

• Develop systems to identify and measure key performance indicators (uptime, downtime, scrap, yield)
• Manage continuous improvement project pipeline to prioritize projects in relation to cost, benefit, and effort
• Determine equipment required to meet customer demand and critical process parameters
• Support manufacturing during critical process development work for scaling to commercial process
• Ability to manage asset reliability risks that could adversely affect plant or business operations
• Under the direction of site leadership, prioritizes capital projects for improving site performance and efficiency (safety, cost, quality)
• Ensures compliance to cost, scope, and schedule
• Guides efforts to ensure reliability and maintainability of equipment, processes, utilities, facilities, controls, and safety/security systems
• Other duties as assigned

The Candidate:

• Must have Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related discipline. Mechanical, Electrical & Packaging Engineering degrees are preferred
• 2-6 years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint) is required
• Experience in pharmaceutical, food, or biotechnology industry is preferred
• Infrequent lifting overhead, reaching less than or equal to 15lbs with ability to potentially be able to lift up to 35lbs and push/pull 40lbs is required
