Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our healthcare team. Duties

As a Certified Nursing Assistant, your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating.
  • Monitoring and recording vital signs including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
  • Supporting patients with mobility needs using equipment such as Hoyer lifts.
  • Providing care for patients with specific needs including Alzheimer's care, dementia care, and memory care.
  • Assisting in medical procedures under the supervision of nursing staff.
  • Administering medications as prescribed and ensuring proper documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Maintaining a clean and safe environment for patients by following aseptic techniques and infection control protocols.
  • Collaborating with healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Documenting patient progress and communicating any changes in condition to nursing staff.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess the following qualifications:

  • Certification as a Nursing Assistant from an accredited program.
  • Experience in critical care settings such as ICU or emergency medicine is preferred.
  • Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems such as Epic or Cerner is advantageous.
  • Background in long-term care, assisted living, or hospice care is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and basic life support (BLS) is essential.
  • Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or behavioral health challenges is a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
