Role Summary

We are hiring for one of our prime clients, a leading player in the construction materials industry, for the position of
Scale Operator
. This role is essential in supporting daily plant operations by ensuring accurate weighing, ticketing, and coordination of truck movement. You will play a key part in maintaining smooth logistics flow and providing excellent service to customers and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide outstanding customer service to both internal and external clients.
  • Generate accurate and timely scale tickets for all incoming and outgoing loads.
  • Verify ticket information, including numbers, dates, and load accuracy before dispatch.
  • Coordinate truck dispatch schedules to ensure efficient traffic flow and timely deliveries.
  • Collect and document COD payments in compliance with company policy.
  • Prepare deposit bags securely and ensure adherence to accounting procedures.
  • Maintain compliance with all safety, environmental, and DOT regulations.
  • Contribute to a culture of safety through active participation and adherence to company safety policies.
  • Perform general administrative and operational support as required by the site supervisor.

Working Conditions

  • Onsite industrial and logistics environment.
  • Must follow all company safety standards and utilize approved Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Minimal travel requirements.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with hardware/software systems.
  • Strong numerical accuracy and record-keeping skills.
  • Weigh Master License may be required in certain states.
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical operations with money, weights, and measurements.
  • Valid Driver's License preferred.
