Cabinetry draftsman/draftsperson

Overview

We are seeking a skilled Cabinetry Designer and detailer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in various drafting software and possess a strong understanding of architectural design, construction, and CAD principles. This role involves creating detailed drawings and schematics that support our engineering and design projects. The Drafter will collaborate with designers and project managers to ensure accuracy and compliance with project specifications.

Duties

• Develop detailed 2D and 3D models using software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Alpha Cam, and Cabinet Vision.
• CNC programming and operating CNC machines
• Collaborate with designers and manufacturing of cabinets and mill work to refine designs and incorporate feedback into drafts.
• Prepare construction documents and assist in the review process for accuracy.
• Conduct site visits as necessary to gather information for drafting purposes.

Experience

• Proficiency in drafting software
• Computer skills.
• Experience in architectural design and construction drafting is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while managing multiple projects.
