Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Epoxy Flooring Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing, applying, and finishing epoxy coatings on concrete surfaces for residential, commercial, or industrial projects . This role requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and the ability to follow precise application techniques to ensure high-quality, durable, and visually appealing flooring systems.

Duties

  • Prepare concrete surfaces by grinding, cleaning, and repairing imperfections.
  • Apply moisture barriers, basecoats, flakes or metallic pigments, and topcoats using rollers, squeegees, and other tools.
  • Mix epoxy and polyaspartic materials accurately based on manufacturer specifications.
  • Ensure even application and proper thickness across the surface.
  • Monitor cure times and environmental conditions (temperature, humidity) for optimal results.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of tools, equipment, and job sites.
  • Perform site inspections and troubleshoot issues such as bubbling, delamination, or surface defects.
  • Communicate with team members and clients to ensure satisfaction and project expectations are met.

Requirements

  • Must possess a valid driver's license and have reliable transportation to and from job sites.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds or more and perform physically demanding tasks, including grinding, lifting, kneeling, and working on hands and knees for extended periods.
  • Comfortable working in a variety of environments, including high temperatures, humidity, and dusty conditions.
  • Willingness to follow instructions, adhere to safety protocols, and work as part of a team.
  • Strong punctuality and consistent attendance are essential.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience with hand tools, concrete grinders, vacuums, and mixing equipment.
  • Familiarity with epoxy, polyaspartic, flake, or metallic coating systems.
  • Basic knowledge of concrete surface preparation and floor coating processes.
  • Understanding of measurements, mix ratios, and product coverage rates.
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow application procedures precisely.

Work Environment:

  • Job sites include garages, driveways, commercial warehouses, showrooms, etc.
  • Work may involve weekends or early morning starts, depending on job scheduling.
  • May involve exposure to chemicals, dust, and noise—PPE is provided.

Job Type: Contract
