Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Mathematics Instructor to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in mathematics, effective teaching strategies, and a genuine commitment to fostering a positive and engaging learning environment. This role involves teaching multiple levels of math, from foundational concepts through advanced calculus, while inspiring critical thinking and a lasting appreciation for the subject. University-level experience is preferred, as it supports excellence in curriculum design and instructional delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and accommodate diverse learning styles.
  • Teach a range of mathematical subjects, including Geometry, Algebra I & II, Precalculus, and Calculus, ensuring clarity and comprehension for all students.
  • Assess student understanding through evaluations, assignments, and standardized tests; provide timely, constructive feedback to support growth.
  • Foster a collaborative classroom environment that encourages participation, curiosity, and respect for diverse perspectives.
  • Integrate technology and innovative teaching techniques to enhance engagement and deepen conceptual understanding.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or Education (advanced degree preferred).
  • Prior teaching experience, ideally at the university or secondary level, is highly desirable.
  • Strong command of mathematical principles and the ability to explain complex topics clearly and accessibly.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a talent for motivating and engaging students.
  • Proficiency in educational technology and online teaching tools.
  • A genuine passion for teaching mathematics and supporting student success.
