Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Powder Coater to apply protective and decorative finishes to metal parts using powder coating techniques. The ideal candidate will have experience in industrial painting or powder coating and a strong eye for detail.
Responsibilities
Prepare surfaces for coating by cleaning, sanding, and masking
Apply powder coatings using spray guns and automated systems
Operate curing ovens and monitor temperature settings
Inspect finished products for quality, coverage, and color accuracy
Maintain equipment and ensure a clean, safe work environment
Follow production schedules and meet daily output goals
Adhere to safety standards and wear required PPE
Qualifications
Minimum 1 year of experience in powder coating or industrial painting
Familiarity with powder coating equipment and materials
Ability to read work orders and follow instructions
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
