Mixologist

Overview

We are seeking a person who is interested in learning to become a Mixologist under the guidance of our current skilled mixologist. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for cocktail preparation and customer service. As a Mixologist, you will create unique and delicious drinks while providing an exceptional experience for our guests in our Speakeasy.

Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes or customer preferences.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring all tools and ingredients are readily available.
• Engage with customers, providing recommendations, taking orders, and ensuring satisfaction throughout their visit.
• Manage inventory levels of liquor, mixers, and supplies; assist in ordering as necessary.
• Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently to process transactions accurately.
• Collaborate with other staff members to ensure smooth service during busy periods.
• Uphold all safety and health regulations related to food handling and alcohol service.

Skills

• Strong mathematical skills, including retail math for managing inventory and transactions.
• Excellent time management abilities to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours.
• Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly demeanor that enhances guest experiences.
• Familiarity with Toast or similar systems is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Sales skills that contribute to upselling beverages and enhancing overall revenue.
