Job Summary:

The Manufacturing Engineer will provide technical leadership in a Class III medical device manufacturing environment. This role requires hands-on expertise in process validation, risk assessment, process controls, and cross-functional collaboration to support multiple engineering and production projects. The position involves driving manufacturing efficiency and compliance using industry-standard methodologies including Lean, Six Sigma, and GMP.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and execute complex manufacturing engineering tasks, ensuring alignment with project objectives and company standards.
  • Develop and validate manufacturing processes through IQ/OQ/PQ and continuous process improvement initiatives.
  • Apply Lean, Six Sigma, and GMP methodologies to enhance process performance, product quality, and manufacturing efficiency.
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement effective process controls for high-reliability Class III medical devices.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure timely project delivery and change management.
  • Support multiple concurrent projects, ensuring compliance with quality, regulatory, and safety standards.
  • Proactively identify issues and propose innovative solutions in situations with limited precedent or established methods.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Software Engineering.
  • 5–6 years of experience supporting Manufacturing Engineering within a Class III medical device environment.
  • Proven experience with process validation (IQ/OQ/PQ), risk assessment, and process controls.
  • Hands-on experience with Lean, Six Sigma, and GMP manufacturing practices.
  • Strong project management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage supplier changes and support multiple concurrent projects.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced proficiency in data analysis, documentation, and technical reporting.
  • Experience with continuous improvement initiatives in regulated manufacturing settings.

Pay Range: $40/hr to $42/hr
