Position Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Inside Sales Representative to join our team. This role is responsible for managing customer relationships, preparing and processing purchase quotes and orders, and ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, price, and process customer quotes and purchase orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Communicate with customers to understand product needs, provide technical information, and offer product recommendations.
  • Enter and track sales orders in the company system, ensuring timely follow-up and delivery.
  • Coordinate with vendors and purchasing to obtain pricing, lead times, and product availability.
  • Work closely with outside sales representatives and other departments to ensure seamless customer support.
  • Identify opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and increasing customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain detailed and organized customer and sales records.
  • Provide general administrative and sales support as needed.

Qualifications:

  • 1–3 years of experience in inside sales, customer service, or order processing (industrial supply experience preferred).
  • Strong understanding of sales and purchasing processes, including quotes and order entry.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with ERP or CRM systems preferred.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Team player with a strong work ethic and customer-first mindset.
