Job Description:

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, deploy, and manage scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant environments on AWS.
  • Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
  • Implement and enforce security best practices across AWS services, including IAM, security groups, KMS, and WAF.
  • Establish and optimize CI/CD pipelines with tools such as AWS CodePipeline, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.
  • Monitor and optimize performance, cost, and security across the cloud environment.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure, networking, and deployment issues.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship, promoting the adoption of modern cloud architectures and best practices.
  • Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to ensure alignment with business and technical goals.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of professional IT experience, including 4+ years in AWS cloud engineering or operations.
  • Expert-level proficiency in core AWS services: EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, Lambda, ECS/EKS, API Gateway, CloudWatch, etc.
  • Hands-on experience with IaC tools — Terraform strongly preferred.
  • Proficient in scripting with Python, Bash, or Go.
  • Strong understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, load balancing) in cloud environments.
  • Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes (EKS).
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional certification preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
